When you use Sphinx Money, we collect:

• Email address — used to create and secure your account via one-time passcode authentication.
• Financial planning inputs — income, account balances, expenses, and retirement assumptions you enter into the tool.
• Projection data — calculated outputs saved so you can return to your plan.

We do not collect payment information, Social Security numbers, brokerage login credentials, or any data from financial institutions.

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Run and store your retirement projections
• Allow you to return to and update your plan
• Authenticate your account securely

We do not use your financial data for advertising, scoring, or any purpose other than operating the tool for your benefit.

Your data is stored securely on AWS infrastructure (Amazon DynamoDB, AWS Cognito). Access is authenticated and encrypted in transit. We follow AWS security best practices to protect your information.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be disclosed only if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us through the app. Upon deletion, your email and all associated financial inputs and projections will be removed.

Sphinx Money uses minimal session cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us through the app. We will respond within 30 days.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the tool constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
